MAYOR DRAWS THE BALLS

Chief Electoral Officer Douglas Bain with the Mayor of Derry Gerard Diver and Derry Area Electoral Officer Patricia Murphy
The Mayor of Derry, Councillor Gerard Diver, made the second draw for the Electoral Office Free Prize Draw when he visited the Electoral Office in Derry on 4 November. The first prize of £500 was won by a lady from the West Tyrone Constituency.  The lucky winner of the second prize of £300 was a lady from Upper Bann.  The two third prizes, each of £100, were won by a lady from South Antrim and a man from the local Foyle Constituency.
The draw was open to the more than 19,600 individuals whose names were added to the electoral register or whose name or address on the register was changed in the three months to 9 September 2008.
The next Draw will take place in February 2009.  To have a chance of winning you must either be registered as an elector for the first time or tell the Electoral Office of a change in your registered name or address.
If you need a registration form you can obtain one from the Registration page.  For information on registration please contact us.
